Elections Obama campaign guru: Trump would love to run against Bernie

Where has my criticism of Obama involved his words?

I said he needed to reel his people in, or I would assume this is a coordinated attack using proxies.

Bernie is pretty popular. I'm not surprised he isn't openly standing against him.
This is kind of unhinged. A political advisor who worked for a winning campaign 8 years ago gave his prediction of the incumbent's strategy based on polling, the small number of far leftists, and the need for moderate appeal to win a general election. There are more voters turned off by far left socialism than supporters by an incredible margin. If you can't get moderates to vote for you, you can't win a general election.

Doesn't matter. Those voters that are centrists get to pick between Trump who they view as the greatest danger this country ever faced, or their slight bit of being uncomfortable because they were programmed to think that the military isn't socialism, but welfare is.

2 in a row, Jack? You need to sit down before you're out.

1) I did not say that I supported Trump.
2) Bernie is not a good candidate. That does not mean the Democrats can't field one.

We agree, then, that in the general election, Bernie wins on the "more likely to be taken seriously by other world leaders" axis?

Biden has strengths. He also has weakness.

I don't see Obama backing Biden though, I see him backing anyone but Bernie at this point, and I take issue with that.

You know many people said a inexperienced black man with the middle name Hussien couldn't win as president.

I'm thinking that was a bigger hurdle to climb then the policies that have forced the DNC and entire Democratic party to run on Bernie's platform, because they are so popular.
I don't know that they're so popular as opposed to being a knee jerk reaction to Trump. I don't care much for Biden myself but if Bloomberg would change his stance on gun rights I think he would appeal to the moderates on both sides. He's the type of businessman Trump lies about being. Small loan from mom and built an empire.

First, this shift started before Trump was elected. Clinton was adopting Bernie's platform before it was cool. From trade, to banking regulation, to college and HC, Clinton was the first to try and adopt Bernie's platform.

Second, those moderate voters will hold their nose, and vote for anyone who isn't Trump.

Voter turnout is the name of the game, and that is why Bernie is the strongest candidate. Not only does he turn out more young voters, but he takes the rust belt back from Trump.

Huh?

What does that even mean? The country has had the revolutionary war, a civil war, 2 world wars, the depression, the cold war, 47 recessions, and you think anybody other than retards who've never read a book considers lowers taxes, a booming economy, record low unemployment, no new wars, the least military force of any president in 40 years, and stronger border enforcement to be "the greatest danger this country has ever faced", and a guy threatening to torpedo the economy, double everyone's taxes and put everyone on public assistance to be "a bit uncomfortable"? Get some sleep, man.

LOL! Bernie didn't invent leftism. Clinton was pushing for single payer before you were born, for example.

It appears you feel your posts here are more important than they really are
