NYPD anti-harassmant training chief removed from position over racist online posts

He can get a job writing for Tucker now.

How racist is "brillohead" to the general public?

After BSing with my nephews on Halloween I referred to the asshole one as such: "yo, brillohead."

My buddies and BIL's say not that racist, but I dunno now. Now I feel bad about it.

This is actually bad.

I don't care if some racist asshole gets fired, but if things you post anonymously online become public then we're all in a lot of trouble.

How many of you would want your hr dept to know your sherdog name?

Was probably his job that made him vent like that in his posts. :D

I'm self-employed, but I would.

On several websites, I use my REAL NAME as my screen name.

only the racists And open women haters like @Amerikuracana would be in trouble. Most normal people here wouldn’t care one bit.

What are you talking about?

Conservatives say and do shit shit that makes me laugh all the damn time.

:-/

Honestly if Trump wasn't a danger to us all I'd find his antics hillarious. It kills me that this dude is bribing porn stars while courting evangelicals, started the space marines in case we need to fight the marians, and stole GOP donations to put his kid's book on the NY Times best seller list and I still hate him. It's like if your stoner college room mate became president and could do whatever he wants so he just did goofy shit all day.

But then he ruins the fun with prison camps where we perform medically unnecessary hystorectomies on teenagers for the crime of seeking asylum.

If the officer in question actually made those posts he should obviously be fired, but there should be a damned sight more digging as to how he got in that position in the first place and has he been in a position to actively harm others throught his bigotry. Also, anyone he's ever arrested is going to lawyer up and move to have their cases cleared up.

It's not that surprising, dollars to donuts it's just another patronage position that Inspector Kobel got when he couldn't work overtime anymore.

Among an ocean of bullshit hysteria mostly composed of anecdotes of everyday individual misbehavior, this story stands out.

The NYPD is not a small department, and this was not just any cop. This was your EEOC watchdog. This is going to hurt the department's reputation for years to come, and in this case, it should. This isn't manufactured media nonsense.

Lol @ any person beyond 2018 with an important position thinking that anonymity online is a real thing.

What a clueless twat

I'd be fine with it but my company is smaller and has a whole group chat dedicated to saying whatever we want. My boss constantly tells me I'm an affirmative action hire.

actions speak louder than words... i've had plenty of students i thought were absolute dumb fucks and would love to fail them...but based on the work they did, etc. i gave them the grade they earned

posting on a message board through an alias to let off some steam isn't worthy of being fired

If only the NYPD lived up to being “New York’s Finest” like the FDNY does being “New York’s Bravest.”

I'd bench them out of the window.
