ny post allege gsp best buds with drug kingpin

"Ultimate Fighting champ Georges St. Pierre" - that's some reliable reporting right there.

This thread is now about Jimmy's girlfriend, Brazilian-Canadian model Amelia Racine

I just looked her up....... Damn!!!!! :p

I must have missed the part of the article where it is claimed that they are 'close friends'. All I see is a reference to photos with 'unwitting' DiCaprio and GSP.

Weed is legal in canada no....I would rather be weary of people associated with alcohol distributors, one of the most hardcore, dangerous drugs out there...

Weed is not legal in Canada.

doesnt really mean much other than maybe gsp has hung out with this guy at a nightclub a few times and had no idea he was a drug dealer. THere is no fucking way on earth that gsp would knowingly befriend a piece of shit like that and Im the biggest georges st pierre detractor on this forum.

That is seriously not true. Athletes/Celebs hang out with drug dealers/mafioso guys all the time. It is really not a big deal.

most of the mma orgs in canada have connections to mob, mafia and bikers.

friends are just friends, im friends with some very dangerous people. and i have no intentions nor do they of seeing me behind bars.

Look at fedor cozying up with the russian mob or wand chillin with the brazillian cartel.

Absolutely true. There are several MMA gyms in BC where you don't go unless you in the gang or you are willing to associate with gang members. If you have to fight them in a competition, you should probably let them win. It is unfortunately the way it is. Combat sports will always attract the attention of organized crime. It is great for gambling, and is exciting.

Do people think guys like Lorenzo and Dana don't have connections to organized crime? Come on, let's get realistic.

Successful drugs dealers, organized crime etc are the only people that can get into the clubs and go to the parties that professional athletes, movie stars any elite go to.

It's just how it is. You'd be surprised at the mix at many top level events.

I was hoping someone from NY would respond, because that is how I figured it is over there. NY can be such an exclusive place where your name has to be on the list to get it. Well certain people you never tell they aren't on the list. For a lot of guys, mixing with celebrities is one of the main reasons to get involved with organized crime. They want to be on the A-list.

I worked at clubs in NY for a number of years. Table serice runs like 1k+ at the minimum for posh places. The crowd breaks down to 4 groups of people:

1) Rich people or their kids
2) Joey, Tony and Tommy of saved the money up and get a table once and month to feel cool
3) Famous people (who usually get comped anyhow)
4) Drug Dealers (who will drop 1k+ every weekend sometimes Fri and Sat) They usualyl only last a few months until they get caught or shot.

And as someone stated earlier, the real serious money makers don't come out at all. You'd never know who they were.

I love these kind of guys. They probably masturbate furiously during the week thinking about those evenings they rubbed elbows with the elite members of society. It is probably the only thing that gets them through the rest of their lives.

GSP always struck me as a phony. the type of stuff he's involved with behind closed doors, we might not even be scratching the surface. it's awlways the soft spoken white boy with a troubled bullied past that you gotta look out for.

The motorcycle gang and the Montreal mob then smuggled the pot from Quebec into upstate New York, authorities said. Trucks delivered it to a warehouse in Brooklyn, sources said.

GSP always reminisces about his drives from Quebec to NYC.

GSP Drug mule?

Why would you think that? It's not like the mafia has a huge presence in LV anymore.

Some shit newspaper? I write for the Post and while it can be over the top in terms of headlines, the reporting is very solid and has fewer corrections/retractions than the NY Times. It also has among the highest readership of any paper in NYC.

What do you do that makes you so important, asshole?

Your insecurity is off putting and leads me to doubt that you actually write for "the Post"

OMG how could he be friends with this ANIMAL?! I mean how many lives has this kingpin ruined by increasing their appreciation of music, movies and ice cream?!?! Oh the horror!

He's such a big phony, and his fans just eat it up:p

I'm a reporter for The Post, insecurity be damned. However, I had nothing to do with this article.

Uh no. Possession laws just aren't typically enforced.

The Fertitta brothers grew up in Vegas and have been working in and around the casinos since the late 70s through the 80s. I don't know much about mafia and organized crime in the USA, but I would say it is difficult to make a fortune like that in Vegas, especially in that type of industry, without knowing a few people.
