So who's supposed to fight to the death, the lawyers?

I'm guessing he's arguing for his client to fight the person suing him.

    That is fucking awesome! lol

At bare minimum the court is going to have to make a ruling that will become legal precedent and will have to be able to legally sustain it. There are all sorts of crazy laws still on the books but most are civil and criminal infractions, not resolutions. You don't see things like this hardly ever as any of the crazier remedies have been legally addressed by now. What will be even funnier is if both sides agree to it, what basis would the court have from preventing it? This might actually be interesting.

If it is the lawyers who fight to the death, I'd be all for it. Anything that reduces the number of lawyers is a good thing.

I saw a recent Jeopardy! question about duels and apparently you weren't allowed to hold public office if you participated in a duel but they made an exception for Andrew Jackson. Apparently he killed multiple people in duels and not only did he hold public office but he became president lol. Like just imagine if a modern president, oh by the way, killed multiple people in duels prior to his political career lmao

Who would have guessed something as dangerously badass as this would come out of the NYC nanny state? That's heartening.

Yeah, dude was unhinged, in the best possible way. People were always whispering shit about his wife, calling her a trollop and a hussy and such. Eventually he had enough and killed one of those rapscallions in noble combat. This was BEFORE he became President...

He also killed lots of Englishmen in the Revolutionary War even though he was just a little kid at the time. Legendary badass.

Nice use of rapscallions. We don't use it nearly enough in today's world.
