yep yep takes a bit to set up etc etc ... then its pretty tick box ;)

Well I'm trying not to do any work so I might sort it out today.

You would need to weigh out everything wouldn't you?
Also, does it include fitness stuff (like running, swimming, muay thai). I assume it can't take into account intensity.

no no, you dont have to weigh your food unless your making up something custom.... just play with it and you will soon see its flexibility... the only thing i dont luv about it is it needs low carb parameters as well on there RDI ...

yep activity's and the ability to create custom activities the same as the foods ;)

You should weigh all your food if you want to keep track of it anyway. There is a big difference between how much you fit into a cup and the actual serving size on a package.

"Some good examples of the change that can occur with the difference between weight measure and cup measure would be oatmeal. If you take a measuring cup, scoop out your 1/2 of cup oatmeal which on the package label says is one serving. Check beside that serving amount for the gram number amount. In this instance it is 42 grams. Take your scoop of oatmeal that you measured out as half a cup and dump it onto a scale and see how close you are to 42 grams. I was personally for 5 months eating 60 grams of oatmeal when I though I was eating 42. Now you may think

I've been using the desktop version of Fitday and really like it. I don't know how much it differs from the online version.

You can enter in different types of exercises and the activity level, from light to very strenuous and the length of time. You can also create custom exercises. For example you could great Burpees and estimate the calories burned in comparison to other exercises.

You can also add custom foods. I make chili so I put in all the ingredients and save it as chili so when I eat chili I can just enter in the one food item now. It's real easy to adjust the quantity if I eat 1 cup or 1.5 cups.

I do weigh all of my food as well. My diet is pretty much the same day to day so it's real easy to copy over previous meals from the day before.

Finally, you can enter your weight gain or weight loss goals and it will tell you how many calories you need to add or subtract. I'm not sure how accurate it is though.
