Muscle is not heavier than fat. 1 lb of muscle is the same weight as 1 lb of fat. Muscle is denser than fat however.

Bone density, muscle insertion (how long the muscles are), water retention/extracellular water, height, internal visceral fat around organs.

I do agree that the shorter McGregor probably has less visceral and subcutaneous fat and more muscle per lb of body fat than Khabib hence why aesthetically he looks physically better

Thats right of course, but I meant that a certain visible amount of muscle is heavier than the same visible amount of fat.

Khabib has a stronger core. Everyone who has grappled with Khabib comments on how physically strong he is. That size comparison picture us deceptive, because it depicts Conor being physically stronger due to bigger muscles and lower bodyfat, but Khabib is going to ragdoll him.

He and khabib are pretty much the same size...there is no excuse when he gets destroyed.

He is 3-2 against people his own size...only once has he Ko'd a non-manlwt...3 years ago, against questionable chin poirer.

Muscle weighs over 10% more.

In his back. His back is far more dense than Conor's, he's also taller than Conor.

You know something I spotted lately?

Look at the difference in Khabib's muscle mass from his early UFC fights to his recent fights, Iaquinta and Barboza.

He went from looking almost skinny, to having a back like a kingsize bed.

It's better to compare them when they are fully hydrated. They both weigh the same in the pictures but on fight night Khabib will be heavier.

Conor is a tadtad clo to the camera, flexing, and the pale lighting isn't doing khabib any favors. Also, khabib seems an inch or two taller, so he probably won't look as thick as the shorter man.
