Nunes next title defense: how does it go against Valentina Shevchenko-Julianna Pena?

This division is starting to get good. I'm not sure how any of these fights go. I think Nunes has improved since the first Val fight but Val is a great counter puncher. I'm not ready to call myself a Nunes fan but I love her fight style and can't find anything too not like about her personality.

I'm not so sure Valentina is a lock on winning a 5 rounder against Nunes. Nunes gassed the last time because she took Val's grappling ability lightly and expended too much energy trying to finish her on the ground. In a rematch, she very well elect to keep the fight entirely on the feet, which would conserve her cardio more. It all depends on how the effectiveness of Nunes' standup lasts against a counterstrike like Val as the fight wores on.
