Nunes forced silence seems to indicate the fix is in

    1. nunes last minute "sickness" yesterday after rhonda unexpectedly bailed on a PR appearance
    2. the lack of trash talking from nunes or simply hyping the fight in any way
    3. the complete absence of the reining champion from the 207 promo's
    4. the utter ack of support UFC is showing their champion
    it all adds up to the fix being in, hopefully nunes is compensated well for taking a dive but I doubt it.

    WME-IMG probably paid Nunes to take a dive. Dana doesn't give a fuck anymore if Ronda and Conor loses but Ari Emmanuel does...

    lose badly in a fair fight, however after teh shenanigans yesterday I am increasingly doubtful a fair fight will happen

    I liked it because it's anti Ronda and made me laugh.

    Seriously though, Nunes is super quiet and the level of fight this is, she should be in more interviews or at least tweeting some things to get people talking or thinking. Nobody is hyping anything up for this. We are just getting bombed with Ronda return videos.

    If Nunes takes a weird body shot and goes down and they say "Ohh to the liver" when it was in the stomach and the fight gets called I'll be laughing. "Ronda's hands were flawless tonight! The rockstar came in rested and ready to go Joe! Unbelievable!"

    I heard some very reliable rumors that Ronda's loss to Holly was a fix also, they did it to make Ronda rebound and come back bigger than ever and to create a total meltdown of the Sherdog forums.
