Numbness in my lip...

Hey, I didnt know where else to post and ask this but I have been getting some tingleing in the lower part of my left lip when i chew. Its almost like every couple bites I get a mini muscle spasim, anyone else ever have this happen. I was thinking it might have something to do with grappling, like my neck for sqeezed and it fucked a nerve up or something. If anyone has any idea of whats going on that would be great, I know this isnt a doctor forum but I figured someone might have had this before.

Do see an MD for this who will send you for some basic bloodwork. Are you experiencing any facial droop or other neurologic symptoms associated with your lip numbness? Uncertain if it is caused by BJJ with routine chokes etc... The nerve that supplies that area has origin in the brainstem at the level of the pons which is anatomically tucked pretty high above the neck. Do you have any TMJ symptoms? Ear pain or pain in the jaw in front of the ear? Stress as stated above can cause such occurrences.

My lip is drooping or anything I look the exact same. Its just when I eat my lip tingles and its only a small part of the left part of my lip. I dont have health innsurrence atm so I cant goto a docter atm:<
