Me? I don't believe I have spoken much about my Asian identity on this forum, as I notice that my account is slowly approaching its 20th year mark. The only comments I have made about it in recent times was about the absurdity of the racist reverse discriminatory policies of DEI/Affirmative Action, my acquiantances with a few of the Roof Koreans during the Rodney King Riots, and my thoughts on the CCP/China and their involvement in the Korean War.
I still think DEI is shit, and China is responsible for the continued existence of the despotic Kim dynasty of the DPRK. The Roof Koreans were pretty cool dudes, though. I can't really remember what I have written in this thread regarding my identity, but all I remember is me perusing through this thread to read some comments that expressed disgust at the murderer's actions, condolences for the victims, questions or theories about the killer's motives, and a few racist memes and jokes about the tragedy, which were justified as a valid form of coping with their grief .
Sure, I guess I'll just have to assume that these jokesters are either Filipinos, Filipino Canadians, fellow Asian Canadians, have friends or family members who perished in the tragedy, or were present in the tragedy themselves.
Who knows? Either way, I was just going through the motions, rolling my eyes at these racist memes/jokes and their enablers, already resigned to the fact that this is Sherdog, a gathering of a mishmash of casual and hardcore MMA fans, regular Joes, few intelligent, quality posters, and a heaping amount of psychopathic trolls who seem to be fond of posting racist dog whistles and bad faith, nonsensical bullshit.
Par for the course.
