International 'Number of people' dead after car driven into crowd in Canada, police say

This thread is so weird. People just mocking this whole situation. Is it just me or is empathy completely dead in our society now? Maybe people were always like this but it feels things are worse than ever since I've been alive at least.
I fear this is a statement for what online interaction has brought us to and why certain leaders are popular right now

Mocking, taunting, trying to find blame for what appears a totally tragic situation

Its sadly reveals how many of us just at heart, pieces of shit.

"You drove and killed 20 people?"

"Why not 40 people?"

Alright. I'll take it.

At least it's not a meme about his shitty driving.

Hey, bud. It's not just this thread. It's the entire forum. It's par for the course.

Lol it's cucks like you who keep voting for this shit, but don't worry if he moves he will certainly be replaced by yet another scumbag who lives off welfare, doesn't work along with his 6 other siblings and routinely victimizes Canadians in a never ending cycle of incarceration and early release.
I'm assuming your talking to Andy cause I sure as he'll didn't vote for this garbage.

I'm voting pierre , as is my wife and one of the big reasons is the 3 strikes policy he wants to put in for repeat/violent offenders.

i just hope Canadians actually show up this time. I can live with the results, even if I don't agree with them , if it's the choice of most Canadians . Now if we get another liberal government from 60% of the country voting then that's a different story.

I don't really get it.

What is the "shit" you didn't used to have there in Canada? I don't really know what you're attributing this to?
The homeless/open air drug use has definatly gotten worse in the last several years. Especially in the downtown cores.

Not new, always a problem. Just significantly worse

Well........at least the incels in Canada don't have guns.

It's Mr. Mercedes irl.

RIP, and I hope the driver rots in jail.

Lots of filipinos look like diffrent asian races, i always get mistaken for korean and chinese. Not all filipinos are brown

His name is Kai-Ji Adam Lo. I'm not an expert on Asian names but that doesn't sound like a Filipino name, more Chinese or Korean.

Doesn't sound Korean to me. It sounds more Chinese instead. Of course, there are also many Filipinos of Chinese descent, so I don't think it's a stretch to think he was a Filipino himself.

Either way, I don't believe I've ever heard of an Asian minority committing a terrorist attack against his own people or fellow Asian minorities on US or Canadian soil before.

You think any of those people you tagged will come help you this time or ignore you like they always do?
Well considering I didn't even tag you but you STILL found your way here to insert yourself into my replies I'd say my relevancy is holding.

Or did you have nothing better to do during working hours on a Monday?

He's mental. There's barely anything more to it than that. Maybe he was mad about his shitty haircut, or he got dumped, or he's a shitty driver and another driver gave him the finger that day. Law enforcement has ruled out terrorism as a motive.

But hypothetically, if it was some kind of political thing, would that matter? Really? Random fucked up individual does something random and fucked up. What conclusoin should one draw from that?

Well, I think it'd be absolutely necessary to understand what his motives were, despite the random nature of his action, so we can all strive to prevent this type of tragedy from ever occurring again. It's a tall task, but we need to start at some point.

Maybe it can spur the government to address some existing deficiencies in its mental health programs or change the law regarding taking away driving privileges from individuals with severe mental disorders. It can't happen without fully understanding what the source of the problem is.

They get bailed out by their parents. The parents vouch for them. There was a story about an immigrant in London (Canada) that had 22 arrests for stalking and assault of women. 22. Each time the parents said they would care for him. The last time he chased a girl into a car dealership and the parents said, 'fuck it. No more'. the guy was deported.

22 times before he was actually dealt with.
- I aint ashmed of say that guy would be found in a bag here.

Mental illness and crime often blur the lines. There is a point when they need to be removed from society for our safety. I'm sick of these crazies doing crazy shit and then released to do more crazy shit ad nauseum.

We let schizophrenic murders out on the hopes they will continue to take their medication lest they kill you with a hatchet and eat your brain and eyeball
- Were animals, other animal species do that. But us humans arent as smart i think
