Brits talk about their supposed two tier justice system while their gov denies it, here it is just accepted as a fact of life and fully acknowledged by the system. Makes me fucking sick I'll probably be moving my family and business to somewhere safe like Asia, Eastern eu, or middle east at some point. Maybe I'll come back to vote for Alberta's separation and then leave again. This country and its inhabitants can rot.

I've traveled and there are tons of places around the world that are much safer than the typical urban Canadian setting. We are supposed to be at the very top of the list. It is shit compared to how it used to be and I would say much of the social disorder has spread outside the bad neighbourhoods. The systems for enforcing things are overwhelmed and are pretty useless.

We are not going to do shit. We don't even lock up prolific violent offenders who are responsible for most of the crime/chaos, who won't take the meds and can't be forced to. Like I said system is overwhelmed. This is what really makes it intolerable, we are expected to just walk around with all these lunatics and fend for ourselves because it was all so poorly managed.

No one likes the direction the legal system has gone in Canada for decades with the revolving door catch and release non-justice system but that doesn't make it a shit hole, certain neighborhoods are though. In Canada there is freedom to move to another place . There are some cases of horrific deaths that were preventable but there is no country with a similar population and large immigrant influx where that doesn't happen .

Canada needs to lock up and medicate the known mental cases that was the case decades ago rather than turn them out into the general population as happens now .Obviously screen everyone for mental health issues when issuing a drivers license just like to get a gun - they both can be lethal .

While Canada isn't perfect it is far better than most ,travel and living in others countries for several years confirms that.

Now that Trudeau is gone it would be nice to see Canada get back to respecting the will of the majority, not fringe groups .

I know in Calgary for a while there they were using cement trucks and bulldozers and shit to block roads into areas where street festivals were going on. I don't live there anymore so maybe they don't do it in Calgary any more, but it seemed like a good idea imo and should be standard practice across the country.

It would be nice if we didn't have to worry about this kind of shit in Canada like in the old days, but that ship has sailed unfortunately.
