I think the NSAC should knock on jones door and give him a random drug test. with his fight in less than a month away, why on earth does jon jones have a weed pipe in his car? from what I remember, weed is generally in your system for a few weeks up to a month.

Still not considered in competition, so it wouldn't matter if he had weed or coke in his system.

They only test people who are already aware that they're coming

Nsac and ufc = corrupt

Expect nothing, lose $$$ over weed, no way.

Free Wand!

I was just thinking the same thing last night. It's obvious he ran for a reason, perhaps to avoid a DUI. If the UFC/NSAC had any legitimacy they would be all over this.

This is a really stupid suggestions.

They random test him and lets say they catch him on weed and coke. So what?

Those are both only banned IN competition (basically tests right before/after fight).

There would be no punishment and they shouldn't even test for those since they have no bearing on the licensing of a fighter.

so I don't get it. so you can have weed and coke in your system outside competition just not steroids or some other PED's? when is it considered in completion?

I am not just talking about weed or coke. if he is doing weed this close to a fight, he is more than likely doing stuff to clear his piss so he comes out clean. its about his character, if he is willing to do stupid stuff like that, who knows what else he is on

Test him now and a chance of something else in his system... Something to wash Something else out

And if he runs from the test will he be vilified like Wanderlei has been?

Something like twelve hours before and after the fight or even shorter. Basically fight day.

It is not the ACs job to police narcotics, etc. It is part of their job to police PED use in MMA.

well if he was smoking marijuana prior to the accident it could still be in his system on fight night, like a hair test or something, not sure if they do that

it will be interesting considering how strict the UFC policy is on marijuana levels

No. Bones would have it 10x worse.

Is Jones currently under license with NSAC?

If not, it's an immediate banning from the sport for not taking the test they have no jurisdiction to administer.

He may not be "in competition" right now, but he's certainly in violation of the UFC's fighter conduct policy, if he does in fact have banned substances (of any sort) in his system.

That's what.... 1 day in rehab?

NSAC gives no fucks about pointless confusing legal words on paper.
