I also heard a while back that Alvarez's contract makes him a free agent after one more fight whether he's the champ or not.

I'm not sure Chandler can beat the elite lighweight fighters.

Missed tonight's fight. Everything else I've seen of him made me think he was legitimate top 5 material. Still his only losses are by split decision.

chandler's contract won't run out for another 6 fights I believe, though Alvarez does only have the one fight left, no match clause, and it won't matter if he is champ or not. Added fact, Alvarez's last fight HAS to be on a PPV or Bellator risks a massive law suit because they matched the UFC contract with a guaranteed PPV and PPV shares awarded to Alvarez.

Chandler's striking defense looked horrible, and i can't even remember how many times Brooks took his back
Edit: wrong title

They should bring back tito while they're at it.

Why would bellator want one of its only legitimate claims to the top 10 lists to lose?

There are hardly any fighters on their roster that they can claim could be competitive in the UFC and they just lost one potentially. NOT what they wanted at all. And to boost Tito, who may have 1 or 2 fights left in his body? really?
