Why would a rematch be at all warranted? The fight was competitive, but not controversial. Definitely winner of Rumble/Gus

No brainer. I am sure Dana would be thrilled if Rumble got injured and he could have Gus/Bones then save rumble for the next shot. Jones just has those two and he's cleaned out the division.

    Of course not a rematch?

Why would a challenger losing a clear decision get a rematch?

I can only assume this meant a rematch w/ Gustafsson if he beats Anthony Johnson.

I wanted Cormier to win so badly, but why would a rematch of the title fight last night even be a thought?

I'm a DC fan but wtf man, why would he get an immediate rematch?

Gus - AJ. DC still has time for one more go at the title.

    Gus - AJ winner.

Another question- does DC fight the Gus - AJ loser or the winner of Bader - Davis?

We should just say Gus will get his rematch because there's no way AJ will win.

Gus/Rumble winner gets next title shot. DC fights Shad/Glover winner, then maybe Gus/Rumble loser. If he wins those two, give him another title shot.
