Now that Jones looks like he is out of prime and likely starts losing soon..

..who would you most rather see giving him his first decisive and legit loss? Who should get the honor?

Third time DC?
Post bench Rumble?
Last chance Weidman?
Healthy groin/Comeback Gus?
Johnny Walker?
Green Reyes?

Discuss.

How can you say something like that when you just saw Santos arguably beating him? Or is Santos just that much better than all of those, DC included?

I like to see Jon roided to the gills and fight Ngannou or Stipe.

But obv UFC will protect him from such.

Gus never had any love for the sport, never even train between fight, he should continue with his model job.

I guess rematch 2 legged santos, 0 talent in LHW...

Jones decided to kickbox with him for 25 minutes.. Think what you want.. Jones is just fine..

I think it's clear from Saturday that if Santos is healthy and dedicates himself he can be the light heavyweight champion.

Nobody but blind haters had Santos winning. Jon jones could goto the post office and sherdog would say the mail man won by unanimous decision.

No, he isn't. He is still on his prime, but he demonstrates his full potential only when it is needed, like vs Cormier for instance.

Doesn't matter who you scored it for, the fight was extremely close and that's what's relevant.

He's still in his prime, the out of prime excuse is usually an excuse for fanboys to justify a loss. You saw it with Fedor a lot. Jon is 31 FFS, hasn't taken much damage in his whole career, and has taken a ton of time off because of drug failures and the like. The guy who he arguably lost to is in his prime at 35, was killing himself to make Middleweight for years, and has been knocked out multiple times.

Nope, Jones has declined BADLY since the DC rematch. Can't believe how people can't see it. Its either PED related issue or his mileage, or both, but he is not at his best anymore. It's ok to accept it, he has been training/fighting at the high level over 10 years and started really young. There is nothing embarrassing about declining at this point in his career.

I don't even see how it's arguable if one knows the scoring rules and knows how to score a fight and isn't bought or a UFC troll farm account or bias Jones fanboy. Santos clearly won that fight.

Why was it close? Because Jones closed up his tool box on purpose. Sounds crazy but he did it.. Watch his fights with Rampage, Machida, Shogun, DC, Gus 2 etc. He fought Santos like that on purpose..

I don't think so. Really.

Because it’s fucking obvious

You know mma is a game of styles right?

No Santos isn’t a better fighter than DC, but stylistically against jones?
Yeah Santos has a better style to beat Jones than DC

Gus and Weidman I would fancy my chances against at this point
Rumble is never making 205 again
Reyes and Walker are unproven and have punchers chances at best neither have been 5 rounds or done anything overly impressive
And Santos rematch doesn’t fare well for him considering Jones knows his game now better than before.

My point wasn’t that crazy

Jones will be a 20 time world champion before he loses so you're gonna have to wait a few more years, TS.

This is what people just ignore. He just made 10 interviews before fighting Santos that his new goal is to be a 20 time world champion. He's obviously going to fight a lot more "safe" to be able to achieve that.

Just like GSP did.
Just like Floyd did.

A lackluster fight in which he controlled almost every second of doesn't mean he's "out of his prime".

Jones is still micro-dosing!
Oh wait he's finally clean that's why looks bad!
Oh no he's still pulsing!
Oh he's out of his prime!
Santos would win a rematch!
Oh no, Santos is a bloated MW how embarrassing!

its getting sad.
