Now that Biden is President-elect, lets go over some things.

what i find interesting is, you voted for trump TWICE and never once asked these questions to him...or at least he was asked those questions and never had truthful answer...so, why the double standard when it comes to democrats.

Politics is full of hypocrites and double standards, it's part of the game politicians and their supporters play.

you originally said "we tried to warn you that we can eradicate Covid" then you edited it.
you have never edited anything? why are you such a hypocrite? you make mistakes and its ok for you, but anybody else edits a post and its your cue to play gotcha?

Im. not criticizing you for editing. Im just saying I disagreed with the original statement, not the edited statement.

This isn't a "gotcha"

I'm conservative and voted Trump, both times. I take reality as it comes and I'm not having a meltdown. Biden actually has a few things that will help me a lot per immigration. But can liberals and his supporters go over his actual plans? I can't think of ANY that were laid out or talked about, ever.
Liberal is a big tent. Who do you wanna hear from? Far left? Left? Blue Hawks?

1. Riots, and police. What is his plan on this? Will this all magically go away now he is soon to be POTUS? Are we still running with de-funding the police?
The initial problem was obvious. The continued problem was the lack of leadership from the President, Governors, and a dogshit slogan from the left. Biden will need to push against the dumbass defund slogan and push for what it aimed for: Allocating funds to things that would actual help solve some of the problems surrounding calls to emergencies.

2. Covid19- I haven't heard a single thing he is going to do different than Trump has. In fact the media is now not reporting on it at all even though the numbers are bigger than ever. Are we going to shut down again from January- whenever? What about places and States that thrive on tourism and places like Vegas and sports arenas? What exactly does he plan to do different to bring the numbers down and get us back to normal? Or is the plan never to be back to normal?
If you haven't heard different things then you haven't been paying attention. Mostly, he'll likely enact a nation-wide coordination on how to implement lockdowns when necessary and a protocol for coming out of lockdowns. I'm spitballing here, but it's not hard to assume that.

3. Healthcare. I'm sure he will re-enact ACA and penalize people who don't sign up for it. I'm a family of 3 being 32, wife 25, and a 1 year old. We are all healthy with no conditions or health problems, non-smoking, social drinkers. The bronze plan was 280 a month the last time I checked, and it was basically disaster coverage for car wrecks or almost dying scenarios. The plan i would need and used to have back in 2010ish was around 75 a month and had the usual 50 dollar co-pay, etc.
The USA healthcare system is dogshit from top to bottom and the country should be endlessly embarrassed by it. The populous should push against the pharm and insurance companies until politicians regulate the holy hell out of their practices. Only then can you start creating a proper system. I don't expect much from Biden here.

4. Economy. How is he going to keep the economy and stock market where it is? Getting rid of the oil industry by 2025 is going to rid thousands of jobs. And no, the people losing the jobs aren't magically going to get hired into the field taking it over. That isn't how it works.
The stock market has been artificially inflating itself for gains and it will likely fall. That's not really on Biden. What will be on him is how he turns it around after the fall. Hopefully oversight and removing any untoward practices that are certainly happening given the last 4 years of laxed control and oversight. It's not a mistake that the Gov juts pulled $1Bil outta Silk Road.

5. Are we going to stack the Supreme Court? Does anyone agree with actually doing this?
Possible but not all that likely. A scary idea that will almost certainly have little to no chance of moving forward thanks to partisan problems.

6. China. Joe Biden loves China and thinks we should be best friends. What is he going to do about China and jobs, and our tariffs on importing and exporting?
This is one of those weird rightwing talking points that really doesn't hold up. Will Biden work with China? Absolutely. It's a huge growing force in the world, and the US has to stay in stride with their movements. We've ignored them for 4 years and they've made huge inroads while we left the table in major ways. China is not a huge fan of Biden. He is much more likely to hold them to account for Hong Kong. He is much more likely to recognize Taiwan. Biden will also likely be overall more capable of pressuring China into deals or concessions Trump could not.

“There will actually be more tension over human rights, Hong Kong, Xinjiang,” said Shen Dingli, director of American Studies at Fudan University, listing areas where China expects Biden to adopt a tougher line than Trump, who did not emphasize upholding human rights or liberal values as part of his foreign policy.

Shen and other analysts said China could seize the opportunity to quickly offer friendly gestures to Biden. Beijing would be happy to work on areas of potential collaboration, such as countering the coronavirus pandemic, bringing the United States back into a climate accord or patching up a nuclear agreement with Iran, Shen said.

Doesn't mean Biden won't work with China where he can. But the idea he's a softy for China is delusional.

7. Jobs- Whats his plan to create more jobs in America? Are we going to bump the minimum wage up to 15$ an hour? How is this going to impact pricing on everything?
Invest in green jobs. Find transitional opportunities for dying industry. Support in-country industry via tax credit or grants.... just a guess basded on how this usually goes.

Lets have a civil discussion.

God Emperor President Daddy Biden is going to cure covid, put out the wildfires, improve the economy for the middle class, end systemic racism, defeat climate change, and that's just the first year!

1. Biden supports BLM and called Antifa an idea, both are borderline terrorist organizations. He's going to have do a lot more than re-allocate money to fix the underlying issue that has divided the country.

2. He is going to implement lockdowns, exactly. Lockdowns are useless and suicides and OD's sky rocketed. Mandate mask nation wide? And enforce that how? I live in the deep south, and people are using mask without it being mandated. It's already happening, anything that Biden would do "different" besides mandated State shutdowns which will ruin the State if it happens again.

3. I agree with this.

4. How is it not on Biden when Trump is blamed for everytime it dips even though its the highest it has ever been under a POTUS? Can Biden not create more jobs and influence business's better than Trump? That IS directly on Biden.

5. Lets hope nothing happens

6. It isn't weird. China is our biggest threat, and are trying to become the #1 power house in the world, and they might be soon. Bye Bye Hong Kong.

7. What green jobs? Give me specifics. What are the oil people going to do? They won't magically transition over to an entirely different field. How many jobs will he create vs lose? He could potentially send us in a recession we can't dig our self out of. Mortage people didn't give people a free pass on payments, and they won't do it on a second lock down either. We will see a worse crash than we did in 2008 if Biden does shut us back down.

It will never cease to amaze me just how pleased people are that a guy like Biden has won your party's bid. For all of Donald Trump's faults, he doesn't come close to this level of degradation. Hopefully, Biden and his Hollywood/establishment friends don't get their hands on your kids (if you're not already abusing them yourself). Enjoy.
oh im abusing them......i read them all your posts...

1. He is removing the travel ban from Muslim nations that up harbor terrorists.
2. He is allowing children brought here illegally to remain here and get citizenship.
3. He is rejoined the Climate Change Paris Accords.
4. He is rejoining WHO.
5. He is raising Taxes for every American, but really killing those who make 400k or more, combined.

These are things he can do with executive orders.
The other socialist things he may not get through Right away.

Only the offenders are "abused" by my posts.

1. He never said he'd defund the police. Another popular talking point.

2. He'll have a national plan and not wing it like Trump did or ignore it. Maybe he also pay attention to experts. If it gets to exponential growth again, you might need lockdowns.

3. I have full benefits and pay like $200+ month after benefits. You're getting a good deal. But, the Healthcare system needs revamping. Dems are trying to do so something about it.

4. Stock market has been in a bubble for a long time. Who knows what it'll do. Jobs can be created through green energy and infrastructure. He's gone over that.

5. No.

6. He'll probably kill the tariffs because they are economically bad for the country.

7. He didn't say 2025... he said 15 years. Eventually, we need to transition to green energy for many reasons. We need to start sometime.
