Now that Biden is President-elect, lets go over some things.

It's also bs. Rich people can do things to legally lower taxes. Even something as basic as moving from one state to another. Then guess who's taxes get increased to make up the difference....

lets try it and find out.

I don't think Biden is going to wave a magical wand and fix everything. In fact, I don't imagine he'll fix much at all.

But at least he won't be aggressively shitting on it either.
He has to fix problems he created. Every decision he has made has been a bad one. So much so that he has to distance himself, lie, deflect, ignore or get aggressive with anyone who challenges him.

biden has said repeatedly that no one who makes less than 400000.00 a year will see a raise in their taxes. this is known.
If Biden gets his 401k bill passed, taxes will go up for families making as low as 80k a year. What Dems say with respect to taxes and what really happens has always been different.

By bending over. We'll go back to worrying more about what our neighbors think than what our citizens truly need.
Cooperating with other allies and nations isn't a bad thing. The Trump admin managed to do it with Saudi Arabia, North Korea and Israel without your concern apparently.

Easiest way to tell a butthurt conservative? Whether or not they are repeating the lie that “COVID isn’t even reported on anymore, derp”.

Every time I turn on a major news outlet or look at the front page of their website there’s headlines regarding the record setting number of new cases. Every time. I’m no big Biden fan but I don’t understand why you feel the need to make up such obvious bullshit to whine about.

My guess is a Biden is considering a national mask mandate and national guidelines for re-opening or shutting down based on local infection rates, but I’m sure the senate will attempt to obstruct. Probably funding contract tracing as well.

Instead of Trump's no war policy, I think Biden will invade a country in the Middle East ''to bring democracy" and the refugees will fled to Europe of course.

Wanted to make a thread but even after being here for years it still won't seem to let me so ill put this here and one other thread to see responses. So I'm a strong Trump supporter but it seems its over and we lost. Ill deal with it fine, im willing to give Mr Biden a chance. It seems doubtful to me a lifetime politician whose been in the game 50 years is finally going to change things but we will see. What I refuse to do is go in the streets and throw a fit like a child, have meltdowns, and I won't support the media attacking Biden and trying to block everything he does like the left did for Trump for the next 4 years.

Honestly, I don't feel Biden will be too horrible but what I am scared of is Harris. This woman is nothing but condescending and arrogant. She was rejected in the primaries and is ONLY vice president because of her sex and color. Literally only reason. She will be absolutely horrible if Biden steps down which is what I believe a lot of democrats are trying to get done.

So, all I can say is good luck Joe Biden I wish the best for you and our country, I hope your treated more fairly than Trump was and truly prove to be a president for the losing side as well. PLEASE don't step down for Harris.

Signed,

Trump voter.

Trump dug a really deep hole. It’ll be tough for Biden to get out of, especially if evil McConnell remains Speaker. But honestly anything is better than Trump.

That “hole” was because of covid and you know it. A “hole” that ravaged most countries. But for some reason Trump is he only one that gets blamed (well not all Americans blame him). While All other countries understand it is China’s fault and don’t blame there leader. You think Brazilians are blaming Balsanaro??? You think Indians are blaming Kovind? You think Russians are blaming Putin?? Thai people aren’t blaming heir King or government even though they were accepting Chinese tourists up until May. The list goes on and on.

This is pretty much par for the course when it comes to right/Republican reaction. Come Monday morning, will grab a coffee and go to work/hit the gym.

Unlike in 2016 it was the MO of many lefties to:
- make a crying video and post it on Twitter
- march up and down the street with “not my president” sharpied on their foreheads
- bust out windows in downtown city areas
- grabbing random white people out of their cars and beating the crap out of them
- producing fake hate crimes
The list goes on and on.

One thing is for sure, pretty much the rest of the planet is happy.
Spoken like a person that has never left their country and only listens to CNN.

In 2019 I came across many people that had ZERO problem with Trump in each country I visited. Germany, Vietnam, Thailand, India.

edit: Ever been to Australia? Good luck spouting your silly nonsense there.

we tried to warn you that if you take positive action, covid-19 can be effectively battled and eradicated....yeah, and we tried to warn you that if you treat ALL americans with respect and fairness, we can lessen hate among the races...yeah, weve been warned, thank you.
You know who doesn’t agree with you about your first sentence?? Americans and American culture.

There wasn’t anything that was going to stop the numbers America racked up. And if Trump tried to push the mask thing than instead of 40% not wanting to wear a mask it would have been upwards of 75% being that all lefties will hold their breathe if Trump says oxygen is good.

These hos talking about BDS will also have BDS in a year when gas prices are 5 bucks a gallon and half their paycheck goes to socialist agendas.

Anyone else think there's going to be an uptick in mass shootings soon?

feel like there's too many despondent people with guns out there

No. But if the mass shooting numbers go down, Biden will take credit. If it goes up, Biden won’t take the blame.

People on both sides do that, but especially the left.

If you ask a person who voted for Biden why they voted for Biden, its almost impossible that they can explain it without saying something about Trump. As TS said, they are quick to say Trump mishandled COVID. But when you bring up that Biden was late to the party and didn't even want to put a dent into Chinese flights, or if you ask what Biden should have or would have been able to do differently than Trump, they draw blank. If you ask them what plans or legislation of Biden's they agree with, they look at you how deer look at you in the zoo if you manage to make eye contact.

Low IQ people haven't mastered the art of separating words from actions. If you take Trump, Biden, Bush, etc. Anyone that is in office... They all put on a show when they speak to the American public. Their public image is how they accrue votes. Trump's public image is very negative. He comes across as a full-blown asshole. Some people love him for it, others can't see passed it and it triggers their emotions in a profound way.

Hilary Clinton was the complete opposite. She was a horrible, corrupt person. But her public image was enough to fool half of America. None of those people who voted for her really knew shit about what she was going to do. It was all about the show.

However, if you can mange to put that show aside, there is a long list of legislation and decisions these candidates will make that diverge from one-another and impact the American public. That is what people should be voting for, regardless of which side.

Instead, we are stuck on the TMZ stuff.

I'm conservative and voted Trump, both times. I take reality as it comes and I'm not having a meltdown. Biden actually has a few things that will help me a lot per immigration. But can liberals and his supporters go over his actual plans? I can't think of ANY that were laid out or talked about, ever.

1. Riots, and police. What is his plan on this? Will this all magically go away now he is soon to be POTUS? Are we still running with de-funding the police?

2. Covid19- I haven't heard a single thing he is going to do different than Trump has. In fact the media is now not reporting on it at all even though the numbers are bigger than ever. Are we going to shut down again from January- whenever? What about places and States that thrive on tourism and places like Vegas and sports arenas? What exactly does he plan to do different to bring the numbers down and get us back to normal? Or is the plan never to be back to normal?

3. Healthcare. I'm sure he will re-enact ACA and penalize people who don't sign up for it. I'm a family of 3 being 32, wife 25, and a 1 year old. We are all healthy with no conditions or health problems, non-smoking, social drinkers. The bronze plan was 280 a month the last time I checked, and it was basically disaster coverage for car wrecks or almost dying scenarios. The plan i would need and used to have back in 2010ish was around 75 a month and had the usual 50 dollar co-pay, etc.

4. Economy. How is he going to keep the economy and stock market where it is? Getting rid of the oil industry by 2025 is going to rid thousands of jobs. And no, the people losing the jobs aren't magically going to get hired into the field taking it over. That isn't how it works.

5. Are we going to stack the Supreme Court? Does anyone agree with actually doing this?

6. China. Joe Biden loves China and thinks we should be best friends. What is he going to do about China and jobs, and our tariffs on importing and exporting?

7. Jobs- Whats his plan to create more jobs in America? Are we going to bump the minimum wage up to 15$ an hour? How is this going to impact pricing on everything?

Lets have a civil discussion.
1) he's already denounced rioting/looting. I suspect it'll be a higher amount of federal funding for mental health among other things.

2) he has discussed a national mask mandate among others. Really it comes down to people not being retarded conspiracy theorists

3) he wants to expand on aca and add in a public option on Medicare and expand medicare

4) he's not getting rid of the oil industry by 2025 be nice if people actually read and did research instead of listening to sound bytes. The economy wasn't great under trump. Wealth inequality continued to grow as it has for mostly decades. Someone needs to figure out how to bring back the middle class and Biden's infrastructure plus massive green investment (which already offers more good paying jobs than fossil fuels) is a great start. Also, giving back teeth to the NLRB and supporting unions will help (as well attacking companies who actively suppress unionization like Amazon and Wal-Mart)

5) No stacking, probably adds 3 seats over course of his presidency if he has a dem Senate

6) uh he's not. Trump is as much as he is. How else can you explain how ivanka magically got trademarks on her products in China (which is next to impossible for most) which she had been trying to for years, after trump became president

7) see #5, infrastructure and green energy jobs
