Deadlifted for the first time in a year or so, and my body is just trashed now. Its not pain--my form wasn't bad--its just extreme muscle stiffness in my lower back and hamstrings now. I haven't been able to workout effectively for three days because of this shit. Even getting out of bed and sitting in a chair has been a challenge.

That being said, I'm gonna keep doing em :icon_lol:

I need to get bigger.

Nice. Any guys who post in the S&P who can't deadlift 405 should be ashamed. That is a 170lb woman with no belt or deadlif suit.

damn shes strong!!!

im not proud to admit it, but I was only working with 185 on deadlifts, and it felt heavy, haha. And I weigh 190. Fuck. Gotta ease back into it though i guess.

Pain is weakness leaving the body.

Holy shit that's fucked up.

"now i bench 255 squat 415 and deadlift 430"

What kind of woman squats 415.

You may want to change the thread title to 'Now I Remember Why I Continue to Deadlift'

I stopped deadlifting cause I didn't want the fat powerlifter's physique.

I just started again too...after years of under-training and doing sumo dls I found simply doing them the right way is awesome

Yea, know guys who get/stay pretty strong with deads as their mainstay exercise serveral times a week

Ha, I can see her roid-beard from here....

I keed, I keed!

im takin next week off from weightlifting particularly deadlifts

last 2 weeks i was startin to feel some inguinal tenderness, dont know how likely it is that i could get a hernia but i figured better safe than sorry

think ill search the faq for anything deadlift/hernia related
