That's almost like the Falcon punch Shogun landed on Chuck the amount TJ moves to the side.

Pretty much. He's a otherwise great fighter who's all to eager to get into brawls his chin can't survive.

What you could argue I spose is that after the first fight he believed his best shot at beating TJ was an early finish, if he'd been too relaxed then he'd just have gotten worked over with kicks from range.

Trouble is he clearly took it too far, yeah chasing a possible hurt TJ for awhile might have been a decent tactic but when you get not one but two warnings on the counter and still carry on doing it before getting dropped by the third? that's just bad fight IQ.

This reminded me of Fedor vs Werdum.

Yeah, that's pretty much exactly what's going on when you get rocked and dropped.
