Never knew Sean did mma. Wtf. And I thought he he's been dead way longer.
I remember seeing him in WCW like 20 years ago (showing my age here a bit).
IIRC he committed suicide. Really sad. The mortality of pro wrestlers is absolutely shocking, especially when they get to that 40+ year mark.
Had the potential to be a huge star in wrestling. I think he clashed with wwe management so they buried him. His MMA career wasn’t anything special though.
Sean was unfortunately one of those guys who never really found his place between the pro wrestling scene and the combat sports scene. He was too real for the pro wrestling ring, and its backstage politics, but not a good enough fighter to survive and thrive in MMA.
The peak of his career was probably when he looked like the next big prospect in WCW.
His devils advocate character was cool but for all the promos and vignettes they showed they just buried it.
I just remember butter bean banishing him to the shadow realm with arm punches on the inside.
is butter bean your doppelgänger IRL?
Come up with some better material if your gonna follow me around bud
Eh? My post was gold
sorry to have touched a nerve
and follow you around? You’re in every thread m8. But I’ll take it easy on you if that’s what you mean
You are only allowed to post in threads that i am not in. I dont make the rules!
I forgot how good some of those promos/vignettes were.
Sorry @HHJ but that was a good one. Had to play devil's advocate.
Dude first thing I thought was only 6 years? Weird how it seems longer than that but for some reason I expected it to be at least 10.
Jesus, I thought he died in like 2005/06.
I had no idea he was dead. Googled him. I had no idea about any of this either
Haire married a woman named Joy Elizabeth in Maui, Hawaii on May 15, 2005. Approximately a year and a half later, he announced their divorce during a radio interview with SquaredCircleRadio.
Haire was involved in an altercation where he was jumped outside of a bar in Hilton Head, South Carolina on March 30, 2007, in which he sustained fractures to his face and skull, including his orbital bone. As a result of the fight, the vision in his left eye was impaired. Although Haire claimed that he was going to the aid of a friend, witnesses asserted that Haire tried to instigate a fight with one of his alleged assailants, Juan Brantley. Brantley had filed a complaint with police on March 17, in which he stated that Haire had attempted to start a fight with him at another bar.
In 1992, Haire was arrested in Hilton Head and charged with assault.
In 2006, Haire was tried for allegedly assaulting two people at a Hilton Head night club in June 2004, but he was only convicted of one count.
On April 24, 2007, Haire was charged with aggravated assault and battery for a brawl at a bar a few weeks prior.
On September 6, 2009, Haire was arrested in Chatham County, Georgia for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. He was charged with domestic battery and criminal trespassing before being released on $4,600 bail.
On November 23, 2011, Haire was again arrested in Chatham County, Georgia and charged with battery. He was later released on $1,850 bail.
One day, 'Sean O'Haire' will read 'Conor McGregor' and @Murder_KickHC will still be posting 15 threads a week about how he might come back for a title shot. Sad but true
lol it was a good laugh
but sometimes @HHJ is sensitive
I think my IQ dropped watching that
