Social Not so free to speak: Columbia University ‘refusing to help’ identify people for arrest – White House

and personally as a Muslim

For someone who believes in the sky fairy that's not allowed to be drawn or painted and apparently liked a Oct 7th post, perhaps instead of complaining about people not being upset if you were deported, you could find one of the many Islamic countries around the globe and go settle there.

You've already said you don't think those who don't have the best interests of the country in mind should be deported to possibly include myself

Extremist religions. Be it Christian or Islam have no place in Western society and I wouldn't be sad if they both disappeared. Ones definitely less compatible though.

I've worked with dozens of Muslims and some hide it better than others, but it all comes out in the end and sounds like you slipped up in the past. Get a bit excited when you heard Israelis were getting mowed down? Accidentally slip and hit that like?

You have made plenty of posts celebrating the death of innocents so you are no better than these religious nutters. At least be honest about your real reason instead of hiding behind “in a western society”

Ive been celebrating deaths of innocents huh?

Have I?

Where?

Real big accusation, is that because you got a blue name bum buddy?

Pretty telling when imamate let's you fight his battles for him and hides behind liking your post.

Right wing free speech has always been more about freely using propaganda and racial slurs and making money off bullshit snake oil products than it has ever been about actual human rights or other first order principles that are good for society as a whole.

If you pay attention to what these people are saying, they just want to be in charge of what speech is free.

They think they should be able to say whatever they want, without pushback, while hiding behind their definition of free speech. But, when people push back, it's the literal definition of free speech.

This student called for the destruction of Western civilisation. He should be sent back to whichever shithole country he originates from.
If guns can't be infringed then why isn't there the same energy for free speech? Free speech is the FIRST amendment anyway.

So because I "liked" the wrong post on a karate forum I should leave the country I was born and raised in for some country where I don't know the native language or have any social connections? Can you see how that comes off as a bit unhinged and xenophobic to me? As an American I have freedom of expression which includes liking karate forum posts.

Speech has much fewer restrictions then guns. Also it like guns has more restrictions on guests on green cards in this country.

Do you think cracking down on green card holders for viewpoint disagreements is in line with the spirit of free speech? Do you think its fair for some of us to have serious concerns that this is going on?

First off, I apreciate your honesty admitting your support of Hamas' actions.

That being said, if you were born and raised in America yet believe in the :eek::eek::eek::eek: prophet, whos followers behead French teachers for discussing him, you will undoubtedly find a more happy existence following your chosen religious teachings in an Islamic country.

No matter If you were born here, if you follow a religious faith like Islam, you have more in common with a country you've never lived in than you do the US.

If you choose to stay In the US and remain Islamic, you're a hypocrite. Plenty of IS members hiding across the western world, we've just had a big one called put here in aus. Guy hides in plain sight just like you.

I do wonder how much violence towards America you've heard discussed in the mosque and if you've reported it.

I don't really have any interest in further discussion with someone who believes a child rapist :eek::eek::eek::eek:philes words should be followed, so feel free to move on to dribble your shit somewhere else.

It depends on what form their " free speech " takes.

What kind of speech do you think would warrant deportation? Do you think publishing an op ed critical of Israel should lead to the deportation of a student on a visa or a green card holder?

I did no such thing though.

Don't you see how this only makes you seem more unhinged and xenophobic?

Anti USA protests, involvement in anyway in intimidation, take overs of buildings or any violence. Calling for destruction of our allies.

Not in itself but calling for river to the sea and such yes. Any involvement in anyway for support of hamas, yes.

You think invoking the phrase "from the river to the sea" should be grounds for deportation if one is on a student visa? What about green card holders, should they also be deported for protesting against Israel or invoking anti-Zionist slogans?

If we survive Trump I really really hope that Columbia doesn't.

The river to the sea is a call for the destruction of Israel.
