Blah blah Jones' in love with the coco (hoping this website isn't too old and someone gets that reference) Let's talk about some positive (lol) stuff..

But seriously, Cody impressed the hell out of me. Had Brimage hurt badly at the end of the first, and basically ate all of his shots like a champ. Undefeated amateur boxer with some brutal stand up, could make some waves at 135 after finishing my man Brimage.

Him vs a guy like Rob Font or Leandro Issa could be entertaining. Issa is a threat on the ground so we can see how he'd react to that, and Font has nasty standup so we could be in for another war. 135 lookin pretty damn promising lately.

Anybody have any thoughts? I was personally more entertained by that fight and the Dunham fight than the Jones/Cormier fight tbh.

Probably the biggest mma news in months and you're wondering why nobody's talking about a fighter who just made his debut and isn't Conor

He looked good. Promising that his background is wrestling but his hands looked really great.

Sticks his chin out in exchanges tho, could come back to haunt him against the heavier hitters at 135.

Who is Cody Garbrandt again? Is he the one that landed that monstrous backfist?

If not, then I have no interest.

    Nope, Felder.

But i'd watch the fight honestly, Cody looked damn impressive against Brimage.

He looked good against Brimage. He could be the next guy at 135 to keep an eye on. Alpha Male prospects are always ones to watch. He also seems like a nice guy from his post fight interview. He does has some of the worst tattoos I've seen in UFC though. Not poorly executed like Belcher, just over the top.

He is a wrestler first a former High school champ from Ohio that had to sneak around to learn boxing so he actually has an affinity for both and now trains at Alpha Male so I like his potential
