Seriously no interest at all at this point.

Dos Santos looked like he was in over his head within 3 minutes of the 1st round. The quickness with which he tired was shocking and the level of talent Valesquez showed was so superior to anything we've seen from Dos Santos that there should be no talk of a rematch anytime in the near future.

Cain made Junior look like an amateur and somehow made the Champion look as though he didnt deserve to be in the ring with the Challenger.

Dos Santo should not be worried about a rematch until he works to correct the major flaws in his cardio and wrestling. Those 2 should be his focus going forward not a rematch because without proper focus on those 2 he will never beat Cain again.

I was rooting for Dos Santos always will but we have to be honest, Cain is light years ahead of Dos Santos at this point.

The right hand in the first round did the trick. JDS looked mentally broken after it. He had never been dropped before that punch.

Cain is receiving all the help the UFC can give him in terms of timing since hes to mexico what bisping is to england

IMHO hes nothing but a well timed fluke

A HW bisping, but with a lot more luck

He got KO'd by Junior 12 months ago. Knocked unconscious.

Stop talking out of your ass. Cain got a title shot coming off a win over a guy coming off a KO loss.

Some of you Cain fans are just plain awkward and weird. He will obviously do his best to correct his cardio issue and he'll be back, you can count on that. It's still 1-1.

I don't think they can gives JDS another shot after just 1 more win. He needs to win 2 or 3 before they do Cain/JDS 3.

Of course with the UFC Heavyweight division being so thin, the third fight might get rushed soon than it should be.

It's kind of annoying actually.

Born, raised, studied, married, fathered, worked and fought in America yet somehow they just keep managing to sneak that Mexican angle in there as though it matters.

I was going to say...did Cain not look "in over his head" 64 seconds into their first fight?

Both fight ended with one punch. Cain went to sleep and JDS turned into a zombie.

BUT, as a zombie, JDS still managed to pull wonderfull TDD.

TS says JDS gassed, guess what, Cain did too.

In their next match, a more mature JDS with striking defense and willing to use more knees in the clinch would be a huge threat to Cain.

Not right now, but after a couple fights, a lot of hard work and with better strategy JDS can pull it off. Before that punch landed Cain was winning, but it was still competitive.

We heard the same argument after Silva vs Sonnen 1 and lots of people said Anderson would get dominated again and would not be able to get a lucky sub.

There were some things JDS could work with. For instance, even in zombie mode he could get a thai clinch many many times, but he just didn`t do anything with it. If he worked on some elbows or knees from there, he could hurt Cain. Also even gassed out and in zombie mode, Cain could not hold him on the ground.

Interesting opinion. I also find your stance on cupcakes and muffins interesting

I'm also not interested in a rubber match. Give JDS the time to adapt his game to this version of Cain.

Thats business and that is what the UFC hopes to sell and how Cain sells himself, nothing wrong with that.

I disagree with the other character that the UFC is helping him and the idea that he is bisping and a fluke. If that was fluke then I dont know what to call the JDS domination.

i am.

Honestly i tougth junior didnt take this fight seriously enough, in the 1st one he said he was afraid of cain, in the second one he looked over confident and thats bad for you when you have a "demon" wanting his title back.

I seriously hope Junior gets his cardio in shape and his wrestling improved so we can finally understand who is the better fight overall.

Yes i know cain dominated him for 25 minutes, but junior also killed him in 64 seconds, its 1-1 in my book.

nvm typos

I'm not interested in a rematch anytime soon. But if JDS puts together a string of good fights, shows he has improved since the last time they fought and earns a rematch then absolutely I'm interested.

Cain was a whole new animal after his first loss...I'm scared to see what JDS will turn into after his first loss in the UFC. He said he was fighting "to break records" while Cain was fighting "to prove everyone wrong" totally different fires. Now that tide has turned and its JDS's time to prove everyone wrong.

TS that is so ridiculous, a few months/weeks ago a lot of people were saying 'JDS knocked cain out in 64s why bother having a rematch this wary or all together' and look what happened.
JDS is an absolute beast he went 9-0 but Cain was the better fighter that night like JDS was the better fighter on FOX 1!
This does not mean JDS can't go back train up fix his flaws and come back stronger (just as Cain did).
You cant rule out JDS because of one loss, seriously pull your head out your ass

this is what irritates me the most as an american, Cain is an american!! yet disrespects america claiming the whole mexico thing while carrying the mexican flag...being an american is what gave him & his family the opportunities he has gotten to be where he is today...

I don't agree with the fluke either. Don't even know what that means but yeah.

Nothing wrong with it but it is annoying nevertheless, to me.

Well JDS was undefeated in the UFC so he had the luxury of breaking records. Cain was coming off a KO loss so there are no records to break but proving people wrong.

New challenges for each man is whats in order now.
