I had my nose broken pretty badly in a street fight a couple months ago and I had to get surgery to get it set, now every time I spar my nose starts bleeding when I get hit in the nose. Before this happened I never bled in a bout or while sparring. Is there anything that I can do about this or do I just need to adapt?

I get chronic bloody noses from having broken mine 3 times, and I always take a good amount of vaseline on my little finger and grease up the inside of my nostrils before I spar.

This allows the skin on the inside of your nose to glide across itself when getting hit, thus preventing or at least minimizing the tearing of blood vessels.

A boxing trick an old trainer taught me. Good luck!

yeah. pretty much all you can do at this point

Like Tim said, you could put some vasaline on a q-tip and just rub it on the inside of your nose a bit. There is a surgery where you burn the ends of your blood vessels together, or something like that. search it up on google.

Sounds awesome, I'll give it a try. Thanks.
