anyone ever gotten their nasal passages burned out/cauderized? is it a good idea? any sides? what doctor do i see?

had it done when I was younger. no side effects and done by my family doc not a specialist.

It is a brief but somewhat painful procedure (I wasn't numbed but I understand most are). They usual use silver nitrate to burn the blood vessels and seal them to stem bleeding. Yes it works. You go to an ear nose and throat (ENT) specialist also known as a Otolaryngologist.

Don't be surprised if he looks up your nose and tells you need to get a deviated septum repaired, that's just another fringe benefit of being a fighter.
