For those who have lived in both, how do cities in the north differ from cities in the south?

Big difference between west coast and east coast cities, so hard to make broad generalizations in just North/South dichotomy.

North is frozen wilderness ,had snow this week

South is frozen wilderness but with some activities besides smoking meth

Depends on where. I mean, some southern cities are beautiful with a ton of charm. Others are a hot boring wasteland. North has the same issue, but cold instead.

The Southern, like Charleston and Savannah I absolutely love. Think Forrest Gump on the bench. (That was in Savannah)
Northern charm I like is in the smaller cities and towns on the coast. Fishing towns and stuff. The cities are okay, lots of historical sites and city things to do, but they tend to have much less charm and character.

Need some longitude context here or there's not much to say other than cold vs warm.

We have better looking women in the south, otherwise so many carpet bagging yankees wouldn't be moving here.

I lived in Austin, TX & Madison, WI. Difference is minorities. Rarer the farther north you go. And cold or hot. South is also nicer.

Edmonton is a cold and ugly ass place. Calgary is a less cold and much more beautiful place. Neither city would have a sustained zombie apocalypse as they'd be frozen 6 months of the year at least.

So southern northern places for the win!
