Proof Norm was great, and the last time the Democrat party was called out comedically in front of the"mass" public.
. Sure Bush was "an idiot" and after 6+ years running of Trump they(as late night hosts) keep pumping out the propaganda. I mean Biden has been "brain dead" since the Inauguration. Also, being intellectually honest...there was nothing at all they could scathingly comment on about Barrack or Michelle?

Just keep it fair the cartoon character's that are McCarthy,McConnell,Tucker,Greene, Maddow, Schiff, Pelosi, Jeffries, Buttigieg, Britton, and Jean-Pierre among everyone else should be fair game. There is so much rich material out there...and it's presented as "normal", and not comedy gold.

I mean imagine what they could do parodying this insanity.

The Obama's had the race card as a shield against any criticism. Even if it was based in comedy. You couldn't criticize or even make a joke about them without someone calling you a racist. Look at how the left melted down after Obama's tan suit was criticized. You think they'd be able to handle Norm doing jokes like these against them?

That footage is great, but it might as well be black and white footage at this point. You just don't have that "shitting on both sides equally" thing in comedy and late night talk shows anymore. It's too bad, because comedy like that is the great equalizer that would settle all the partisan nonsense in our culture today.

Are you suggesting that Saturday Night Live hasn't been making fun of Biden and Kamala? Because I'm pretty sure they have, there's just only so much comedic material to use between those two sleepy potatoes.

Saturday Night Live, The Daily Show and Real Time all make fun of democrats pretty regularly.

I have it on good authority that the reporting on him was fair and balanced, and that they only reported on newsworthy stuff about him. Nay, coverage of him was actually positive at large.

On an unrelated note, I remember going to the CNN, I think it was, homepage one day and seeing a description of the shape of his penis in a headline. I had always been interested to hear about that, so I was happy to have such newsworthy stuff cropping up.

Cool that in a thread about intellectual honesty, we have such a great example of the converse. My take on Trump was that the reason he got a lot of negative coverage (which I didn't deny) was that he did a lot of bad, newsworthy stuff. The MSM coverage of him was certainly more than fair, despite what you'll hear from Republican partisans. And, yeah, the president being a weirdo on even small things gets talked about. That happens all the time with every president. By the same argument you use to defend the claim that GOP CTs about the media are correct, you would have to conclude that the media were plotting against Obama also (with stories about him using a selfie stick, eating the wrong kind of mustard, working without a jacket, etc.). At the very least, that should convince you that the argument is bad (that is, even if you want to hold onto the GOP take, you'd still have to admit that the argument you're making to defend it is weak to the point of not moving the needle at all for someone who is sincerely trying to understand reality).
