Yeah Fertitta UFC was peak UFC. The sport was dying before they got on board and is dying now after they left. As an MMA fan this is very depressing I think I'm going to buy a bunch of helium balloons tie it to a gun shoot myself then the gun can float away and nobody would ever know who killed me. I'd say a lot of the problem the UFC have had in recent years even before the sale was actually that they'd run out of competision to buy out.

The ex Pride, SF and to some degree WEC fighters all had the advantage that they were pretty well proven and known, these days I think a lot of the best up and coming talent isn't so prove or as well known and the UFC isn't as willing to invest in it.
