NOES: Best kills in a horror movie, Agree?

Yes, it is a love letter to my favorite horror movie, A Nightmare on Elm Street.

Every kill in NOES is special and intense and unlike any others.

First off is Tina, now before she gets killed she is terrorized by Freddy and even rips his face off.

Then she is slashed open in-between her sweet sweet itty-bitty-titties and climbs up to the ceiling before falling down and splashing blood.


Next is Rod who gets hung by a sheet in jail -- the weakest in the movie but still good


Then Glen gets sucked into a bed and explodes blood and the blood tipped the spinning room over


Next is Nancy's mother's death....like is this a heavy metal video???

There they are, does another have a movie that can compete with this? They are bloody but not goreporn and creative and original. None of these deaths are forgettable.

ANOES is great.

The innovation shown for the kill scenes was awesome and sadly something you won't see much of today.

They built these rotating room sets*, with the beds/furnishing fixed in place. The Depp kill scene was created by having the set upside down (and the camera also, to make the set look the right side up) and pouring the fake blood through the hole.

The Tina scene (first image in the thread) was similar, Rod was strapped to the ceiling/top of the set, whilst Tina was actually on the floor doing her crawling and reaching. So it looked like she was on the ceiling.



*basically a set on a giant contraption where they could rotate the set upside down and so on.

yeah, and when glen's blood is spewing out of the bed you see it go sideways because they overcompensated the spinning room and blew the electric and etc. I have watched that movie too many times with the commentary track.

Punching a heart through someones back and having them fall into the coffin Jason came out of.

Spear through the mouth, impaling her head underneath muddy water, causing air bubbles.

Ripping someones arm off, causing them to fly into a tree and leaving a smiley face indentation from the impact.

Jumping out of a tree and decapitating three people simultaneously.

Smashing a chicks face through the wall of an RV, causing the shape of her face to leave its mark.

Twisting a girls head around and ripping it off.

Walking up to a cop unloading on him, only to have Jason squeeze his head like a deflated bag causing snot and brains to fly out.

Bending a cop in half like a folding chair.
