That fight really sucked. The both of them were just waddling' around and neither of them deserved to win. I'm tired of hearing all this "HE SHOULDNT EVEN BE THE CHAMPION RIGHT NOW". Well Benderson whooped Edgar's ass hard in the first fight so fudge it man. What kind of damage did Frankie really do to Benderson in the second fight because that's what I go by on judging criteria. I mean after all it is a "fight" rather than a "match"

That piece of crap fight should have been a draw.

I agree that the fight was left in the hands of the judges and there was no clear winner, however your tone is disrespectful given the quality of the fight.

The iceberg won when the titanic suck.

I thought Frankie won the fight, but I am not upset since he is fighting for the belt at 145 now.

Both their fights were fantastic.

I had Edgar clearly winning the 2nd.

It was the quintessential fight to be called a draw but if anyone won by a pinch it would be Bendo in my opinion but it was so close I wouldn't have much to refute if you chose Edgar

So, in your infinite wisdom, how do you determine damage when it is virtually impossible to judge? There is a reason it isn't used as a judging criteria. You simply cannot tell how much damage a particular strike or series of strikes has caused.

One upkick doesn't qualify as "whooping Frankie's ass hard."

You can hear the tone of my voice through my keyboard? I think the word you were looking for was "manner". Anyways, I didn't spend 1 hour proofreading this post. I just thought I need to get it out there. IT was a draw though, I don't think anyone would want to see Benderson Vs. Edgar III at this moment. Maybe in a few years, but I'm not a fan of Edgar due to all his wins have to result in an immediate rematch because they aren't very clear cut in the first place.

But I like where he is at now. I've wanted to see him at 145 ever since he has been champ. The Aldo Vs. Edgar match up is like a dream match up and I don't think its getting the recognition it deserves.

Instead of Edgar using his brute speed, I hope he goes for wicked sick takedowns and while he is there do some vicious GNP. The takedowns don't do squat unless they back up some damage in my eyes. Forget the judges.

I just hope he doesn't do his little mighty mouse/speedy gonzalez boxing. I hate that style of fighting. If he was in a barfight it would take 1 hour because neither man would be able to land a decent blow due to over movement. Nothing like Clay Guida but it is rather similar.

you're right. anyone saying that edgar was robbed is exaggerating.

Only one judge got that fight right. 49-46 Edgar.

frankie clearly won

frankie dropped him and that is significant enough of a difference to give it to frankie considering what bendo did
