Vegas made the most money they've ever made in one night from that fight.

This bullshit Conor fans didn't think he was going to win, yet he was the most backed fighter ever.

Lmao

They are delusional. Most can’t even accept that Floyd carried him. They actually think he was doing good.

No one actually believed it.
Everyone in the fight game was just selling the fight.
You must literally know nothing about boxing or be absolutely gay for Conor to think he would win.

(Or a retard)

I’m sure Mighty Mouse really he would beat Cejudo. Garbrandt got starched by Dillashaw much worse. There is a winner and a loser. Conor put up a good fight. I enjoyed it.

that roided red headed mexican guy would

Most combat sports fans wholly agreed he had no chance. Not even a punchers chance really, those flash fluke kos in mma don’t really happen in boxing

It’s called salesmanship. He didn’t go into that fight thinking he could win. If some of the people that bought it did, well that’s the point. Conor trained hard and was hoping to have a decent showing. Outside of an incredibly lucky Punch how the hell was he supposed to win?
Well said, conor didn't even go for a lucky punch win either he wasn't swinging for knockdown his shots were weak so he could get the moral victory of going X amount of time with Floyd because we all knew him gassing was death.

You tell yourself anything enough times, you might even start to believe it

This post is much more true than it appears at first. It applies directly to the thread but also to life in general. If we didn't convince ourselves of things that make us feel good and truly acknowledged reality, we'd all probably shoot ourselves.

Why do Conor fans say this?

Conor and his dummy team truly believed he was going to beat Mayweather. Why pretend you didn't think Conor was going to win after he got destroyed?

Conor literally got an entire murial for it.

Wtf are you on?

Connor knew damn well he was going to lose and was completely fine with it.

What you saw was him hyping the fight, trying to create at least the tiniest expectation that he had s chance of winning

Only the blindest Connor nuthugger thought he had a chance of winning

there was 0 chance he could win

Anyone who really thought Conor was going to win a straight Boxing match was delusional.

They all expected him to win by first round KO. Changed their tune real quick when the boy got exposed.

And still all say it would be different in a rematch

I’m in the DJ biz (radio and nightlife) and constantly had to give pep talks and it always came down to me telling them the same thing: “if you don’t believe you’re a bad ass, why should anyone else?”
