Same level striking (Liddel was better with the hands and Shogun better in clinch/knee)

Shogun was better on ground, gnp and using Pride's rules.

Chuck is pretty underrated. Before his chin went, he probably would've given Shogun a hell of a fight like Hendo. I would say Chuck resembles a modern fighter more because of his TDD. Still Shogun had nasty striking and more technical.
