I like the idea of one long round but I think there should still be a judges decision at the end. This should still lead to more finishes with out the ability to be saved by the horn, but also cutback on the inevitable huge amounts of draws if there were no scoring system.

15 minutes for a regular fight, 25 minutes for a championship fight. No breaks except in the case of fouls.

A fighter can only win the match by finish. If no finish occurs, the fight is a draw.

I dig it.

I'd take it a step further and add sudden death, include weapons to get a finish.

Nothing crazy, just maybe knuckle dusters and slightly blunted flick knives.

When you are a counter fighter ,for example,you have to find oppurtunities to end the fight that arent always there. You can still win without having to come out of your gameplan to do it. Winning is all that matters. You can be the GOAT and never finish anyone.
