Just one more win, Matt. One more win.
Deserves a top 5 fight fo sho
I'm not sure he can beat anybody inside the top 10. Are Tarec & Dong top 10 now that Shields is cut? Those are probably the only two he might have a shots against.
:icon_twispretty sure he can beat one legged condit
I don't see him beating any of the top 5 guys
everyone on sherdog keeps on underestimating brown because he is a brawler
Needs a couple of Top6-7 fights and then may be if he wins. WW is too damn stacked.
Has anyone had this long of a UFC win streak without facing a top 10 fighter?
Gate keeper at best
Tarec is probably one of the worst possible matchups for him, a better striker that will not get sucked into a brawl.
Dong probably tools him too.
I could see him beating Jake Ellenberger for sure. He could beat Hector Lombard under the right circumstances.
Brown is Chris Leben 2.0 . He will always be fun to watch but once he gets a top 5 opponent it will be obvious to everyone he isn't elite. Brown vs Lombard should be made!
yup especially with that chin of his
LOL @ Brown vs Lombard. You guys must really hate Brown.
I said a chance. I'm not going to completely trash Brown, but yeah I wouldn't pick him against any top tier fighters at WW.
I agree. Give him a title contender match and just see what happens. If he gets owned whatever nothing really lost.
Brown is way better striker than Leben. Very accurate punches and throws combinations. Pretty good with distance.
He needs to break into the top 10 before we talk about a title shot.
I would also like to personally add that he dropped 4 out of 5 fights before his current win streak, including 3 in a row. The reason he has the streak at all is because the UFC put him at the BOTTOM instead of cutting him. So the fact that he calls for a title shot without a single top 10 win is laughable. If it was Kelvin Gastelum or Gunnar calling for a title shot because of their win streaks, people would be giving them acres of crap. And personally, I think either one of those two beat Brown.
The answer is in the question. Win streaks like this with fighters like Brown promptly end when he faces a top 10 opponent.
Separate names with a comma.
