Do you agree ? Believe that Oliviera has the best claim to the stake than anybody else in the division.

None of that matters if he can't do that to top guys. Poirier could rack up a nice highlight fighting the guys Oliveira was finishing. Poirier on the other hand is out there KO'ing Conor and Gaethje.

Both of them. Gaethje and Conor combined is better than beating this version of Tony or Kevin Lee. Chandler is very good, but also has just 1 win over the current LW top 10. He's not a top ranked guy based on results, but more based on ability or what he could do.

Well, he isn't considered #1 because some committee got together and decided. He's not number 1 because sherbros got together and decided he was number 1......the ufc matchmaker and Dana White got together and decided that 2 guys would fight for the vacant title and the winner would be champ.....anything other than that is a waste of energy. There is no GOAT there is no "real" number 1...those are abstract concepts...reality, which is the opposite of abstract says Oliveira certainly is champ, he won the belt, and that makes him number 1. Live with it.

Mike did beat Hooker and he should have been ranked pretty high. Ferg drops out of top 5 but who else is ahead of him? Rda with 1 lw win in 4 years? Conor with 1 lw win in 5 years? Felder coming of two losses? Hooker coming of two losses?

Beating Conor means nothing in 2021. His last and only win at 155 in UFC came in 2016. But somehow beating him in 2021 propels you to top5, according to some posters. How's that?
