Anyone train their JJ here? Can tell me how good it is and what to expect? I'm starting possibly tonight, if not Thursday. Classes are only one hour 3 times a week, but its Almeida's school so i'm guessing its going to be very helpful.

That's some top notch training. I'd def go there. 3 classes for an hour a week is def. a good starting point.

he is an excellent teacher (he guest instructs at renzo's every once in a while where I train) and I love his energey and he has great amount of skill and teaching ability...cant recomend him hihgly enough

ricardo almeida is an awesome jiu jitsu player and mma fighter - well, formerly...unfortunately for us fans he retired in/before his prime to focus on starting an academy, family, etc. i'm sure the instruction is top notch. good luck and let us know how it goes.

A year ago when I started he taught a class. Although I havent' seen him since, he was an awesome instructor and cool guy.
