I've been there 8 times. Its awash with go go bars, clubs, freelance hookers, touts, restaurants and beggers. The tourists are mainly older male Americans, Australians, and cashed-up Koreans. Never seen a female tourist.
It is like a miniature Pattaya, but unlike the thai resort, there's little to do other than drink or shag.
The SM mall is close by if you need a break from the decadence.

The beggars really ruins it for most visitors because some so called beggars are really pick pockets.


If you want some puuke with a better environment I think the Burgos street near Jupiter Makati is better still filled with foreigners.

I was kinda shock I went there during New years eve and I am with my GF and I notice I am the only local guy there. I just finished my beer and got the hell out of there as soon as posible.

I am from around here in Manila but there are times when I feel like I cant take the shittiness of the City anymore.


Like wheb they filled pedestrian overpasses with small shops and filled with homless piss. And they have the mayors fucking permit.
