I think this guy could be the next big thing out of Europe. High level judo and a thunderous left hand.

Plus apparently he's a minor celebrity in Germany already, could be huge for the UFC expanding their brand there.

    What do you guys think?

If his name was Nick Heineken he'd be more popular.

nobody aside from the german hardcore mma fans knows who he is. I have to admit that he got way more media attention than Sobotta, but not because he has done this tv series. It's because he's more well spoken and still works as a policeofficer so he's a good face for the sport unlike this meathead siver who nearly cant put a reasonable german sentence together. minor celeb is an huge overstatement, this tv series has only 1 episode so far and was shown on a tv network for old people

nobody in germany knows who he is... i never heard of this tv show and the ufc event wasn't even televised in Germany (although due to legal reasons). to be honest i wasn't too impressed by his performance. i think he is ufc level but won't be able to hang in there with the ranked guys in lightweight. but would be nice to see a german fighter doing well..

of course he can't. but it's okay if he becomes a solid gatekeeper it's okay. he has still a lot of things to learn, he isnt even training fulltime. give him time

ps: bild showed it on tape delay which is a huge thing for our market. let's wait and see if the rumors about the tv deal are true...

I'd be lying if I said I didn't want more of those post-war--I mean post-fight--speeches.
