I think it would have been freaking great. I mean, imagine interactions between Nick and Shonie Carter. That is freaking TV gold right there.

Talent wise he would win, but honestly i doubt he could have emotionally handled being followed by cameras all day. I could see him voluntarily leaving half way through.

Nick's reach didn't mean shit to Sean "I Wipe My Ass With A Rag On A Stick" Sherk. Do not confuse Nick's boxing skill he has now with what he had then.

Sherk has much better takedowns than Serra we all know the threat of the takedown changes how the striking plays out a lot and Sherk is a much bigger takedown threat than Serra is.

I think Nick's TDD and defensive grappling has improved far more than his boxing has, not that that hasn't improved as well but he's much better at keeping ti standing to use boxing than he was 10+ years ago and IMO that's where he's changed the most.
