How does this fight go?

IMO, I think this is an awful match up for Hendricks. Diaz has a good reach on him and superior boxing. Hendricks could decide to take Nick down and try to ground and pound him between smothering his hips, but Hendricks would be at serious risk of being caught in a sub on the ground with Nick. The Diaz bro's BJJ is no joke!

My prediction: Diaz wins by 3rd round tko.

Hendricks by unanimous decision you know what I mean

Hendricks probably wrecks him.Never know though.

I'd favour Diaz in a 5 round fight. A 3 round fight in Texas is where I would give Hendricks the advantage.

Nick Diaz beats 70% Hendricks by Gogoplata.

Yeah, why not?

Oh yeah, wrestle fucking to avoid a submission is not entertaining. (only way Hendrix winz)

Diaz bros have issues with great wrestlers.

I think Johny would play the point system and spam takedowns and wall n stall.

Hendricks is not going to try and stand and bang with Nick. He'd get his face tattooed to Bolivian.

A fight truly nobody in the entire fucking World wants to see.

I would expect Hendricks by wrestlefuck UD, but I would not want to put my money against Nick.

My thoughts exactly!

Yeah idk, Hendricks is at a disadvantage almost everywhere in that fight IMO.
He is a better wrestler and has more power. His striking actually looked pretty good against Lawler when he was working all of those combos with the leg kicks at the end.

If he can fuel up his tank and stay mobile, I don't think Diaz blows him away on the feet, he can take Nick down at will IMO and just needs to not get subbed.

I dunno, I can see a lot of outcomes in that fight

Hendrix is no longer a big enough name for Nick to fight.

Hendricks doesn't need a takedown for this fight,he would just pin Diaz to the cage and hold him there while landing some punches here and there and thats it.Close the distance and control it.

Like one punch ko power and wrestling/grappling?
Nick has only been legit tko'd once and it was in 2002, but he would later avenge the loss. Diaz also one punch ko'd the sitting WW champ before. Johnny has the wrestling advantage, but not the grappling. Diaz is world's ahead of Hendricks in BJJ.

Diaz is a lot more mobile and diverse than Lawler on the feet though.
