Good, maybe I'll never have to hear his emowhine and thug wannabe punkishness ever again.

With that said, I wish him the best if he decides to focus on teaching the students. I think he could potentially save a few kids lives and do some real good things that may well echo in eternity. I also would truly miss his just bring it, fight at all costs, and never stop trying style. No matter how much shit I babbled here on these boards, I've always respected the hell out of Nick Diaz.

Here is why.
Nick Diaz isn't a special athlete, Nick Diaz is a below average athlete that works hard and never stops training his skills. What he does he does very well. What he doesn't do well, he just never has done well. He's never really shored up his weaknesses.

He's stubborn, he will not stop, he will not quit, he refuses to get knocked out. You have to beat Nick Diaz for however long the fight is scheduled, because if you stop trying to BEAT Nick Diaz and start trying to cruise, he will beat you up.

Nick is not as great at anything many people thinks he is. He's NOT a great boxer (You bought the hype if you think otherwise), he's not world class BJJ (You bought the hype if you think otherwise), he's not a world class athlete (Sure he does triathalons) because his physical tools are not athletic, he just works hard with what he's given.

Another seceret. I don't hate, nor despise Nick Diaz, I have the utmost respect for Nick Diaz, I hate his character. Nick Diaz is a hard worker, determined, works hard, and tries to keep it real, he is who he is. How can a person not respect that?

Maybe he'll come back for some more fights. I hope so.
