He did that as a strategy to delay getting beat on and KOd. It’s the Nick Diaz special. He flaunts and plays it off as tough but that’s all it is...till the clock runs out. That’s why he’s not as tough as people think for a fighter. Compared to an average person he is obviously tough as hell.

I think you are underestimating Nick though. The daley fight really showed just how tough this guy is.

Actually a good tactic, he moves his head in closer range of the jab taking more force away from it than it would have if he didn't.
