YouTube - Bellator 33 HIghlight: Rick Hawn Judo Throw TKO
I tried to embed for you but apparently i forget how. Nice throw though.
Very Nice throw! Judo.. not just for the Olympics.
It happens at 1:15
And for future reference to embed its [yt.]everything after the v=[/yt.] minus the periods.
This one was [yt.]Zg8O9dyB5io#t=1m2s[/yt.] for an example.
Damn. That was awesome!
Nice. thanks Breed.
Awesome! Rick is a beast and a force to be reckoned with. Watch out for him
very nice and he did not even have to drop for it. text book judo right there.
that was awesome.
then they had warren talking after the fight and i fell asleep.
Last match Rick had he did the same throw to bring it to the ground
Sick, does he have a tattoo of the olympic rings?
that throw and follow up punches is gif worthy
Very nice. He made it look effortless. No power needed to toss his opponent.
I was at that event. It was awesome!!!
I like the announcer's, "You don't want to give a judo player your arm..."
"NOW you tell me???"
Agreed. It's also nice to see fighters go to the ground with something other than a single or double leg
Wow, that was a beautiful throw!
Bellator putting fights online = awesome.
On a side note, do you think the throw took him out, or did it just land him in a great position to get hit, and the first strike set him on queer street?
I believe he does, he competed in the olympics for Judo, came like 8th or 9th place ( not 100% sure, so dont qoute me)
Rick trains with us at Renzo Gracie NH (my skills are nothing like his). The dudes a f'n monster, keep your eyes out for him.
He landed at 1:20, tried to defend himself, and finally went limp at 1:27. The throw might have dazed or disoriented him, but I don't think it was hard enough to cause a KO, and it looked like he was conscious for a full seven seconds after it.
