News Nicco Montano has been cut from the UFC

She is not to be compared with dave menne. Menne could actually fight and make weight
Yeah Dave when he won the UFC belt had wrestled Division 1 at Iowa (which is arguably a higher achievement then 99% of female fighters), had 30 professional wins, and had amateur muay thai fights.

Dave was medicore by champ standards but he was 10x the fighter as Montano

Wow. How was she still in the UFC?

Or maybe there happy that the employer is keeping the fighter accountable for there actions instead of making a Berlin wall of excuses for her ? (nah that can't be it, it must be "durrr wmma bad durrr")
No there are some people on this site who are happy that there is one less wmma fighter. Comment is directed at you.

There is no excuse for a man missing weight. Women can have biological issues occur that can screw up their weight cuts, plus cutting weight is just way tougher for women in general.
Nicco should have moved up to 145 if it was that difficult for her. In all seriousness, as thin as that division is she would have likely won a few fights and stayed relevant

Now contrast that with Dern. Had weight issues, became a mom and dedicated herself to being a professional. Now she's a real threat at 115 and has no problem making weight

What a missed opportunity, that was a winnable fight for her lol...

Not too surprising. Hopefully she can get her shit together at some point.

She probably was wondering why it took so long for Dana to give her the walking papers.. She was pissed off she got stripped of the title belt she earned and said FUCK YOU DANA AND UFC. She purposely missed weight and pulled out of fights wanting to be released. Now she'll sign with another MMA Org and will make weight for every fight.

Was all of these fights cancelled because of her weight cut issues?

Here are the reasons in reverse order:
  • Missed Weight
  • Not Medically Cleared
  • Withdrew
  • Tested Positive for COVID
  • Bout Rescheduled
  • Injury
  • Opponent Injury
  • Hospitalized Due to Weight Cut
  • Opponent Hospitalized Due to Weight Cut
