Judging him on an NHL defensemen scale he's having a fantastic year

Judging him on an Erik Karlsson scale he is not

yea he said the chemistry has to 'gel' or something.
he's had his moments but def not on the level he's capable of.
nice blindside hit tonight on Wagner though.

He's on pace for a 50+ point season now, has been getting better and better with like 10 points in his last 10 games.

EK’s been great the last month or so. He makes so many brilliant little plays to keep possession or make passes each game it’s hard to keep track of. Like any other defenseman on the Sharks in the same spot would turn the puck over or force a bad pass but he finds a way to make it work.

He and Burns are getting really good when on the ice together. They seem to have settled into EK is the QB and Burns is the trigger man roles that work well together.

Elias Lindholm has been excellent in Calgary. Lindholm has over a point per game with 17 goals and 22 assists (39 points) in 37 games. He is strong on the powerplay and he spends time on the penalty kill.

Tom Wilson brutalized Jamie Oleksiak a few nights ago. Oleksiak is out with a concussion.

I’d like to see San Jose win something. They seem to have aged out of contention or are on the verge of it yet have been very good for 10+ years now.

This team Canada is a lot like last years

No game breaking studs (Lafreniere will be, but he isn't at this age) but just 4 deep lines of very good players

I'll start watching when the games start to matter. I can't bring myself to sit through watching Canada stomp on teams like Denmark anymore.

The game against the Swiss was good. Close. Switzerland is getting better at hockey.
