Nganou hit Jairzinho with 3 punches while he was out and up against the fence.

Still cant believe how much better rozenstruik looked than ngannou, even though he got finished in like 5 seconds.

That clip in slow motion should be broken down and analyzed by counter strikers everywhere.
This. He was clearly winning the fight with ease before the fluke ko. Ngannou panic punched when he realized he was completely outclassed and being toyed with the entire time.

Never really noticed... because of the amazing knockout. But dang, backed s7traight into the cage with his chin looking at the moon.
Pretty sure he was not expecting at all that Ngannou would follow up after missing that first hail mary nuke.
It looks sloppy in slow mo, but in real speed, it's WTF. Not everyone could reverse so much momentum, you have to be crazy athletic to swing like that.

I meant, going left or right, in clinch or try takedown?

He just walked back which spelled the end for him, he should of circled away. (inb4 keyboard warrior)
Rozenstruik has decent striking compared to the UFC HW division but he was never a top 10 or even top 20 HW in Kickboxing.

What is the best defence in this case?
Its funny how sloppy the punches look and how deadly they are, any boxing amateur would tell you that the best defence in this case would be use footwork, cut angles, counter strike, maybe step in and out of pocket, but that is all theory, Roz is a guy with dunno how many pro fights and quite successful at that. So good luck to any kickboxer apply all those theory rules :)

Saying that I think Tyson Fury, AJ or Wilder all would kill big frank in boxing only exchange, imho

What is the best defence in this case?
Everything looks easier in slow motion after the fact, but it seems there was a chance to change levels and go for the take down when Ngannou missed with the left i think.

Hard to slow a Ford Escort at full speed.

God that whole exchange looked awkward, ugly and out of control, but when it lands, power fixes everything.

Like I said in a Derrick Lewis thread. There are certain demographics that don't stop when they should. If you can stop at the sound of the bell, there's no excuse to continue to hit an unconscious opponent. That's how brain damage and death is caused.

go until the ref stops you it is what it is. safety first but as the sport gets more popular i really hope softies don't damage it from a competition/entertainment perspective . UFC already dosnt show unconscious fighters after a knock out (and it aint ESPN boxing shows it) . That being said he'd be way more of a savage if he just walked off but the man cant turn the animal off until the ref stops it , nothing wrong with that .
