Ngannou would KO Volkov inside 1 minute

He does look like shit, super slow and sloppy. Stipe would crush him with stand up.

The only way you beat Ngannou is with ELITE wrestling which only like 3 HWs posses which one Ngannou already beat and the other doesn't even fight.

Losing until he won?

Volkov was completely fine the entire fight. He had a plan that worked almost to perfection. I just don't think he expected Werdum's single leg to be so effective.

Agreed. Heck, in the Stipe fight, Stipe seemed closer to being KO'd, tho he controlled 99% of the fight, and it happened when Ngannou was totally gassed and was getting lit up. He just has crazy scary power. UFC absolutely needs to sign Minakov now tho. This win just legitimizes Minakov and means he may be the best HW in the world, tho many do not even know him.
 
Volkov makes Mir look fast.

Ngannou would level him within a minute or 2.

i'm pretty sure there's more ways to beat Ngannou than that. in reality all you have to do is survive long enough to outpace his cardio.

whether that's with big takedowns and clinching, or if it's moving around him and kicking his body or countless other strategies to wear someone down.

ELITE wrestling is the only way that's been PROVEN to work against Ngannou, but it doesn't mean it's the ONLY way to victory.
 
Everyone thought Ngannou was going to KO Stipe in the first round and we all know Ngannou only has a gas tank for 4 minutes. So Volkov has to survive the first round onslaught and with Volkov's reach I don't see Ngannou winning.
 
I mean, probably...it's crazy that Francis has a 2 inch reach advantage on him as well.
