Thread title says it all. He was legitimately injured given how he was wearing bracers on both knees. Defeating a super light footed Gane while dealing with a spoiled knee is an almost impossible task, and yet Francis did it even if it wasn't pretty.

Also good display of fight IQ and decent cardio, something that many doubt Francis was capable of.

Well, now surgery time and I guess we only see him early next year.

<Fedor23> i don t see how a bad knee can make your boxing look so shit

It does suck that he'll have to undergo surgery most likely, and be out again for awhile. So another interm belt for the big boys again I'm assuming. He's not eager to get back in there anytime soon anyways they pay him enough to be financially set to live comfortably and focus on his future.

Not really. He’s sitting out a year no matter what to get out of his contract.

Knees would affect everything from movement, balance, rotations, twists, level change, etc - the list goes on. He had minimal footwork and movement from he's previous fights and seemed like he had a hard time lunging forward like he usually does. So it seems to have affected him a lot. If he does do boxing he'll need to up his boxing conditioning and punch count though. Also his movement/footwork conditioning. Especially if he is fighting Fury who uses a lot of movement/footwork and has a high punch count. Can't be all power shots.

He is not injured.. It is just a negotiating ploy.

Imo Ngannous best UFC fight was last night as he was able to change his game plan after 2 rounds to fight through a lot of adversity. I thought it was great.

Felt the same -enjoyed the technicality of the fight. course i like firewars too but Cyril really dont want nunnna dat

That slam changed the whole fight, never thought Gane would get wrestlefucked by Ngannou lol.
