Ngannou has only been doing MMA for 4 years.

At UFC 220 he made $500k base.

Pretty impressive.

Not including WWE stars and pro athletes from boxing, etc.

Wasn't CM Punk's guarantee $500k for his UFC debut?

Maybe CM Punk. Don’t know how much he got but I think it is over tree fiddy.

Depends on who you look at it. Back in the day $500k was show money for most MMA fights. Modern day, its pretty impressive.

cody garbrandt would be very close. not sure what he got for the tj fight but that was 5 years into his career.. but he fought cruz within 4 years and wouldda banked on that with backroom(casting couch) bonuses.

Volkan made 350k plus 30k Reebok plus any PPV points in his fourth fight in the UFC, and in less than one year into his UFC career, and he wasn't a crossover star.

He started fighting in 2009. I get the impression he means from the 1st day the fighter fought.

What about Hidehiko Yoshida, who earned a rumoured/reported $2 million for his fight with Ogawa 3 years after his pro MMA debut?

I'd strongly doubt Volkan was getting PPV points for that fight.

Jon Jones fought for the title and won it after 3 years of being a pro fighter- not including the Hamill BS he was 7-0 in the UFC- by 4 years he had 3 title defenses-

When he was at his best he was lean, creative and a vicious striker- Look at Silva's reaction!

No Idea why he linked up with this nonsense
